Senator Dana Whitfield opened a ten-day bus tour on Saturday with a rally at a county fairground in Ohio, pitching a platform built around freight infrastructure, semiconductor plants and rural hospitals. The tour will stop in twenty-two counties across four states, most of them places where her party has lost ground in recent cycles. Aides say the goal is less to persuade than to be seen.
