The segment, part of the "Hour 4: Washington Wednesday and Trash Takes" episode, centered on a tweet a host pulled up on air. He said he grabbed it because it annoyed him, but also because it reflected a broader mood he noticed while watching the Chiefs play on Monday night.
The tweet came from an account referred to on the show as "Aaron on Jackson" and had drawn roughly 80 likes. It argued that Walker would not have won Super Bowl MVP the previous season without the workload he split with Zach Charbonnet, and it predicted the Chiefs would wear Walker down by overusing him. The post asked how Schneider still had his job and called for his release.
The hosts said that sentiment was not confined to one small account. They noted variations of the same complaint, that Schneider erred by letting Walker leave for Kansas City, circulated widely among fans and media members during the Monday night broadcast. One host said a friend texted him mid-game to say Walker "looks damn good out there," and the host agreed that he did.
None of that changed their verdict. The hosts pushed back on the idea that Walker's performance in Kansas City should cost Schneider his job, saying flatly that the Seahawks "got our guys" and "will be fine." They also pointed out that the tweet driving the segment came from an account with only about a dozen followers, treating the loudest version of the take as noise rather than a real indictment of the front office.
That dismissal is the right read. A single strong showing from a departed running back, even one that gets repeated across social media during a nationally televised game, is not evidence of a personnel mistake on its own. Roster building involves tradeoffs, and Seattle clearly decided its backfield could function without Walker. Judging that call fairly will take more than one Monday night and one aggrieved tweet with 80 likes behind it.
